Pediatric Cancer Foundation

What We Do To Help:

The RET Foundation helps in several ways. We provide direct financial assistance to help families contend with the devastating impact of uncovered treatment costs and other costs related to treatment. This includes:

  • Financial support to families to cover or offset expenses that are not covered by insurance, relating to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
  • Financial support for families to cover various other costs related to cancer treatment, such as: travel & transportation, lodging, communication, education, time off work for parents/caregivers, and legal expenses.

In addition, other programs will be developed to supplement financial assistance, such as a holiday adopt a family program and a Birthday wish-list program. Please check back with this site or contact us to find out more about these programs.

A board of trustees is responsible for overseeing the use and allocation of all funds to ensure that they are used in the most effective manner to meaningfully benefit as many people as possible. Please click Our Trustees and Advisors for a list of our board members.

Grants are made on the advice and approval of The RET Foundation, which includes a committee of trustees and a panel of medical doctors and technical experts, who are consulted as needed to determine the most efficacious use of funds. A grant proposal includes providing the information requested on our Grant Application, as well as an endorsement by the medical team working with the patient. Proposals should be submitted in accordance with the timetable and criteria outlined in our application packet. To receive an application packet, please contact us or request an information packet and application for financial assistance by way of this website.
